    FAQs:

    A. While we have minimum requirements for agency appointments, we are flexible:

    1. Cochrane & Company is required to run a standard credit and security report on the principal(s) of the agency. Please include all necessary information on the producer agreement form, as the results of the report must meet our minimum standards.
    2. We require that your agency have been in business for at least three (3) years.
    3. The agency is required to have an established book of business and experience in working with the Surplus Lines Markets.

       A. Once we have received all necessary documents, it can take up to a week. An appointment committee meets once a week to review all applications.
